As part of my patriotic duty I will begin sharing the word(s) of the day to help our President prepare for what’s coming. Because he doesn’t seem to attach the same meaning to words like honesty, news, Constitution and transparency. I feel that if given a little time to consider the actual meanings of words he can do better. I will provide both the common definition and when applicable the urban translation. Today’s word(s): Emoluments Clause
Description: The Emoluments Clause refers to Article 1, Section 9, Clause 8 of the United States Constitution. In addition to restricting members of the Federal government from accepting titles of nobility. It restricts members of the government from receiving gifts, emoluments (salary, fee or profit from employment or office), offices or titles from foreign states without consent of Congress.
Urban Translation: Unless Congress says so, all the foreign profits coming into your hotels, golf courses, buying your steaks, wine and cologne will be considered a payoff. Highest on the list is the real estate deals with Russia that made you millions for which you sold us out in return. Mueller’s following the money and your bitch ass is going down.
