Busted! Carlos Slim

The Trump campaign has revealed the insidious plot where Mexican financier Carlos Slim has been found guilty of coordinating the smear campaign against Donald Trump. He enticed scores of women to come out with their claims against him just weeks ahead of the election that will determine the fate of this nation. His motivation is obvious. He is Mexican. Trump wants to build a wall. Guilty!

“Slim” is a large shareholder in the New York Times and has given money to the Clinton campaign and Foundation. When taken into consideration, his guilt is clearly proven. “Slim” also owns the network where Larry King has a show. This proves that Trump showing up criticizing the US Military on Russian TV was really a secret Carlos Slim plot.

Anonymous sources within the Trump campaign credit Slim for planting evidence over a period of decades. Waiting to spring his trap when Trump made his inevitable rise to be King… er… President of the United States. The coup d’etat was planting the microphones on the Access Hollywood bus, getting Billy Bush to lead Trump into bragging about being a sexual predator.

Based on the mountain of evidence against Carlos Slim. Trump has been vindicated and now freed up to expose the cabal of International Banks financing a global conspiracy and disrupting the plot to rig the election.

Attempts were made to reach Carlos Slim for comment but he was unavailable. His new spokesperson. Pastor Mark Burns a former Trump surrogate. Denied that he falsified all his credentials when working for Trump in an attempt to embarrass the Trump campaign. Burns said, “I was a fake long before I met Donald Trump. We met, found we had lying in common which was the basis for our working relationship. When asked how he could be seen as a credible spokesman for Carlos Slim. He replied, “Just ask my frat brothers. They’ll vouch for me!

In a related matter. An APB has been issued for Kellyanne Conway who hasn’t been seen in days since the Access Hollywood video came out. Katrina Pierson raised her hand to take her place but nobody called on her. She was told to “sit back down.”

I Try Not To Be Petty…

Pastor Mark Burns, assuming he didn’t fake that title as well, is a fraud.

I’ve written about him before, as one of those wanna be’s getting “15 Minutes of Shame.”

https://enigmainblack.wordpress.com/2016/08/30/15-minutes-of-shame/

He’s earned another 15.

His biography includes a number of things that simply aren’t true. Not mischaracterizations, not exaggerations, but outright lies! Now, who among us has not embellished a little bit on a job application? Who hasn’t tried to present themselves is a more positive light than the record would reflect? What we’re talking about here is degree. Let’s look at his claims.

He claimed to be a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. For anyone that pledged a fraternity or sorority, attended an HBCU or any college. You know how that level of perpetration is viewed. Reports of this fraud started coming out in mid-July but apparently the lie wasn’t big enough for the national media to care.

He claimed to have graduated from North Greenville University with a Bachelors of Science in Business. He actually attended for one semester. Most employers, if they found out about that level of deception would dismiss that person from their employ. We’ll eventually see the Trump campaign response, but then again, shady characters have a home there so he might be good.

He said he served six years in the Army Reserve which he never did. He did however, serve in the South Carolina National Guard which he says makes him part of the reserves.

He claims to be working on an advanced degree from a Seminary that indicates he’s not registered.

He has released a statement in his defense. He says:

“As a young man starting my church in Greenville, South Carolina, I overstated several details of my biography because I was worried I wouldn’t be taken seriously as a new pastor,”  “This was wrong. I wasn’t truthful then and I have to take full responsibility for my actions.

“Since that time I should have taken steps to correct any misrepresentations of my background. We all make mistakes, and I hope that the measure of my character and the quality of my works speak for what kind of person I am.”

Let’s be clear, these aren’t merely the lies he told as a young man while starting a career that languished in a file somewhere until coming to light. These lies are the credentials which he has asked the world to believe he has credibility. He ask’s us to give him credit for the honor of military service, for having completed a college education, for life experiences he simply made up. He asks us to judge him by the quality of his works. This is one of the works for which I will judge him:

As I expected, his white supporters (and Pastor Burns himself) claim that he is only being attacked because “He’s a black man supporting Trump” or “Any time a black man supports conservative views, liberals will find a way to take him down.” Like his non-apology after posting the blackface image of Hillary Clinton. Burns has similarly non-apologized for the false claims covering basically his whole life. The God he claims to serve would accept followers with any background. God uses the remnants which gives Him even greater glory when he uses the least of us in wondrous ways. That Pastor Burns felt he needed to bolster his earthly credentials to serve God say’s more about his character than anything else I can.

Pastor Burns has a wife, six children, and a lot of explaining to do to his family, his church and perhaps even Donald Trump. This is the Trump who claims he surrounds himself with “the best people.” Who talks about “Extreme Vetting.” In reality, he has surrounded himself with people with ties to Russia, that publish racist websites, have harassed women, and that lie about the least of things in the face of insurmountable proof.

Pastor Burns has now cleaned up his website and retracted the false claims. At this point, he feels he’s being persecuted for his beliefs. No Pastor, you’re being persecuted because you can’t be believed!

15 Minutes of Shame

I’m all for Pastors being involved in politics. Especially Black ones. Their congregations are the ones typically affected by unfair laws or policies and the church has historically led the way in fighting injustice. It is only natural that individual Pastors would hold some views that differ from mine. Some might belong to a different political party. Some might vote for Trump. I’m okay with all of that. It is those that have gone an extra mile and become Trump surrogates that I’m calling out for their embarrassing rhetoric and yes their lies.

a shameful moment

Pastor Mark Burns is an Evangelical Christian televangelist and Pastor of The Harvest Praise and Worship Center in Easley, SC. Dr. Darrell Scott is head of the New Spirit Revival Center in ClevelandHeights, Oh. Pastor Burns sent out a tweet picturing Hillary Clinton in blackface, defended the tweet for a whole day and suddenly partially apologized. Dr. Scott was part of the infamous “100 Pastor’s for Donald Trump” that never became a thing but he grabbed the mantle as the leader of a failed movement. These two have traded their integrity for the opportunity to shill for a man who has a history of discrimination against Black people and is guilty of making several racist comments for which he has never specifically apologized (not that an apology would wipe them away).

a 15 minutes of shame

Being a Trump surrogate can’t be an easy job. He contradicts himself and changes positions, sometimes multiple times within a day. He advocates unconstitutional policies, attacks minorities, exaggerates greatly, and lies. You then are sent out to various media outlets to try to make him appear coherent, practical and sane. It’s a hard job, impossible some would say. Nobody made you do it.

Note to Pastor Burns: Check the usage of “do” vs “does” when speaking. It makes a difference.

When you do find yourself trying to explain away his positions and statements. You apparently don’t have the option of saying, “He was wrong.” So you do your best to characterize him in a positive light, change the subject, and when that doesn’t work you make knowingly false attacks and lie too. When you go forth with the title of Pastor or Minister or Bishop, you are asking for credibility because of your title and your association with God. What you are doing is not of God but far more earthly. I hate to assign motives to people I don’t know. I don’t know if it’s for fame, or money, or a misguided belief that the ends justify the means, and integrity means nothing.

In November, the election will be over and you go back from whence you came, hoping the Trump stench doesn’t remain with you. You are getting your 15 minutes of fame, enjoy it now for you will be judged later. I amend that, you’re being judged now and found wanting. May God have mercy on your souls.
