As for Trump himself, he’s been accused by his ex-wife Ivana of sexual abuse and rape. And of course, there are the other 18 women that have come forward alleging a variety of sex-related charges including harassment, violence, and rape. Trump claims he’s innocent and the women are all liars.

What Went Wrong When Bannon Tried To Testify And How House Republicans Were Complicit

So, Steve Bannon voluntarily appeared before the House Intelligence Committee, offering to answer their questions. He brought his lawyer as would be expected, but that evolved into a situation where his lawyer was calling White House attorneys, getting permission to answer each and every question. Before it was over, the White House had exerted Executive Privilege on conversations Bannon participated in during the transition (before Trump was the Executive). While Bannon worked in the White House. Even after Bannon was fired and no longer officially associated with Trump. This was an assertion of privilege that far exceeded anything ever claimed before. Despite being issued a subpoena on the spot, Bannon could not be persuaded to answer questions, promising however to answer all questions from the Mueller probe which has also issued him a subpoena.

But that isn’t the worst of it. It seems the White House had negotiated a deal with the House Intelligence Committee limiting the scope of the questions and when the questions began to exceed the pre-arranged limits, the White House shut it down. I should add that the Democrats on the committee were unaware of the secret arrangement, allowing the Republicans to continue to protect the President which has always been their goal. Republican leaders on the same committee have been actively trying to find out everything Special Counsel Mueller knows, presumably to leak the information to the Trump team.

In a related story. Former Trump Campaign Manager Corey Lewandowski testified today before the same committee. Although he promised on Fox News he’d be answering any and all questions. It seems he too got non-responsive when it came time to actually give answers.

Before the interview was shut down, Bannon did reveal he had been in discussions with Reince Priebus, Sean Spicer, and Trump outside lawyer Mark Corallo about the June 2016 meeting Donald Jr. held in Trump Tower with a Russian attorney.

Of the things, we do know, Bannon hoods a grudge against both Jared Kushner and Donald Trump, Jr. We don’t know how he feels about the man who fired him, who has recently tried his best to throw him under the bus. Bannon has a story to tell and seems more than willing to tell it… to the right audience.

The Unabridged List Of Racial Slurs (According To Sarah Huckabee Sanders)

From the White House podium, Sarah Huckabee Sanders has officially pronounced that “Pocahontas” is not a racial slur and in fact, Elizabeth Warren is the real racist, not Donald Trump who called her Pocahontas for the umpteenth time.

a a a a aarahh

Trump has a history of racist comments against many groups; including calling Mexicans “criminals and rapists,” claiming to have a “great relationship with the blacks,” and saying separately that neither Mexican or Muslim judges could be fair to him. He also demeans and assaults women, but I digress.

To assist the press in their reporting so as to no longer continue to bombard her with questions about Trump’s racist comments and tweets. Sarah Huckabee Sanders has compiled a complete list of all the racist slurs recognized by Donald Trump and therefore by the White House.

  1. Cracker
  2. White bread
  3. Redneck
  4. White Trash
  5. Peckerwood
  6. Pale-face
  7. Any reference to Orange and Trump in the same sentence (Orange People Matter)

She went on to add that, “these terms are utterly offensive and have no place in American discourse. Simultaneously, Trump was issuing an executive order requiring the deportation of anyone using those terms to the country of their family’s origin. In the event, there is no known country of origin or the offensive party is a Native American and “been here longer than any of us.” The default will be to send them to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba where Trump has just reached a deal to create, “Trump Tower Gitmo.”

a a a a aarahaa

Sanders concluded her statement by saying all other terms are non-offensive and “if the President uses them, they can’t be racist.” It was reported that Steve Bannon was in the wings cheering and Kellyanne Conway was heading for the nearest microphone to further lie elaborate.

A House Totally Without Honor

We’ve officially run out of hope there was anyone in the White House with some semblance of honor. None we can trust in discussing the smallest of matters, let alone the big ones. The nation knew what it was getting in Donald Trump, serial cheater with an extensive background of sexual assault and financial bad faith. Liar extraordinaire.

a a asss

There was some hope that those around him would do better, perhaps appeal to his better self should it exist. We were told he’d assembled an excellent National Security team. Men of honor who would put country first ahead of politics. Flynn, Tillerson, Pompeo, and Mattis. Gen. Mike Flynn lasted 24 days before resigning after reports of undisclosed meetings with Russians and being an undeclared foreign agent for Turkey. Tillerson has presided over the gutting of the State Department and the world sees him as castrated, unable to speak for the President without being overridden by a tweet. Pompeo recently proclaimed the Intelligence Agencies concluded Russia had no impact on the Presidential election when they said no such thing. Mattis initially fought the good fight but soon crumbled. becoming just another sycophant.

a a a a moron

The professional liars that speak for the President; Spicer and Scaramucci are long gone, soulless Sanders misinforms us now with guest appearances on television by Kellyanne. Bannon left but exerts more power on the President and his Party than ever before. Someone has to coordinate with the Neo-Nazis, skinheads, and white supremacists.

a a racisst

They told us Ivanka would be a good influence, promoting women’s issues, child care and protecting dreamers. Having influence on none of those things, she’s settled for her new business deals with China. Her free time is spent on her hidden e-mail account on a private server and talking with her new criminal attorney.

a a nepotisssm

Jared was that bright young man that was our next, best hope. It seems he’s had even more Russian contacts than Flynn and almost as many conflicts of interest as his father-in-law. He hired some of the best criminal defense attorneys in the country, beating the run on criminal lawyers by pretty much the rest of the Administration as they ready themselves for Special Counsel Mueller’s questions. We won’t mention Manafort who didn’t even make it through the campaign before millions in Ukranian cash payments from pro-Putin oligarchs tripped him up. The FBI assures him he’ll be indicted.

Manafort under the bus

It seemed the only honorable person left in the White House was Gen. Kelly. That was before he stood behind the White House podium and lied about a speech by Congresswoman Frederica Wilson. Of course, Sarah Huckabee Sanders stands by the lie which makes it doubly false. He was “stunned” that the Congresswoman, “listened in” to a call from the President to the widow of a fallen Green Beret. This while Kelly and “several others” according to Sanders were listening in when the President made the call.

a a a a kelly

There is nobody left we can hope to believe about anything. I’m waiting patiently until we get to the stage where we have public testimony in the Russia hearings. Lie then!

Bannon’s Gone… So What?

Steve Bannon was effectively fired by Donald Trump today. While many rightfully celebrate the departure on one of the main “deplorable’s.” The basket is still quite full along with the man who gleefully assembled them. As long as Donald Trump is still President, Jess Sessions is Attorney General, Stephen Miller, Sebastian Gorka, et al have influence, there can be no sigh of relief.

a a racisst

Bannon is already back at Breitbart News where his racist, xenophobic message, will carry more weight than before. Just because Trump is allegedly rid of Bannon, it doesn’t mean he won’t still be whispering in Trump’s ear, or that Breitbart won’t replace The National Enquirer as Trumps main published news source. We saw Corey Lewandowski leave, yet return at crucial moments and act as if he never went away.

The White House will be no less ___________ than it was before Bannon’s ouster. No policies have changed. No change of heart by Trump on any subject. The likely reason Bannon was fired was not pressuring from the outside to remove white supremacists from Trump’s sphere. If that were the reason, stopping with Bannon would leave the job barely started. It was giving an interview where Bannon acknowledged his power to make changes in the State Department which made Trump look weak, meaning his jealous master had to be rid of him.

Too Little Too Late

It is reasonable to be glad Bannon is gone. Don’t even think about slowing down the resistance because nothing has changed, So we must press on!

We Think Trump’s In Bed With Russia, We Know He Is With White Supremacists!

The Mueller investigation will turn up all we need to draw a fact based conclusion about Trump’s ties to Russia. We don’t have to wait to know whether he colluded with White Supremacists. He’s given them offices in the White House.

a a racistt

When Steve Bannon was head of Breitbart News. He proudly referred to Breitbart as the “platform of the Alt-Right.” They have an even bigger platform now. Bannon whispers in Trump’s ear. Stephen Miller writes his speeches and Jeff Sessions enforces his laws. Sebastian Gorka is always willing to promote the White Nationalist agenda and defend Trump about never denouncing them.

a a racisst

The number of people associated with the Trump campaign and administration who have retweeted Neo-Nazi memes and White Supremacist statements even exceeds the number who had undisclosed meetings with Russia. They include both of the Trump sons and the son of Michael Flynn. They include Trump himself.

a a racest

We have always known who Trump was in his twenties when he was involved in housing discrimination and sued twice by the Federal Government. We knew of his desire to see the innocent members of the Central Park 5 executed. When proven innocent, he begrudged them their settlement. We knew him when he encouraged crowds to attack black protesters and offered to pay their legal fees.

a a fbiii

I personally do not require Trump to explicitly denounce the hate groups that were already publicly aligned with him. The Klan, Neo-Nazi’s and White Supremacists are not his enemies. They are his base. If he belatedly comes out with some words that have no sincerity. Nothing will have changed. He’ll still be exactly who we thought he was. Racist in Chief!

Making America White Again

They never really pretended to be anything other than we thought they were. Trump, Sessions, Bannon, Flynn, Miller and the Trump sons. They all gloried in their “nationalism” and catered openly to the alt-right, alt-light and straight up white supremacists. The Neo-Nazi memes they loved to retweet. They are who we thought they were.

Despite the assertion that the Trump Presidency has accomplished next to nothing. In a couple areas they’ve been highly effective. They definitively answered the question he once asked Black people, “What the hell do you have to lose?”

The reason that the right-wing base of the Republican Party is in an uproar over the potential firing of Jeff Sessions is that he’s been doing exactly what they hoped for. Sessions has effectively reversed the efforts of the Obama administration to fight voter suppression. In Texas, where a Federal Judge found an intent to discriminate against minorities and possibly invoke even the weakened Voting Rights Act. Sessions made it go away and the Justice Department is basically saying, “no harm, no foul.” Texas did promise to rewrite the law and make it nicer while still suppressing minority votes.

Sessions also promised to stop providing Federal oversight over local police forces. He will no longer pursue consent decrees and negotiate with local cops to do better. He even tried with no success to void the existing consent decrees in Baltimore and Ferguson.

a a america whit again

Not done yet, Sessions is ramping up to sue Colleges and Universities over their Affirmative Action programs. Many of these programs have in effect put a ceiling on minority enrolment and only exist because minorities once couldn’t get into those schools at all. The base cries of “reverse-racism” have found receptive ears in the Trump Administration. These Federal attacks won’t be handled by the career lawyers that normally monitor these matters but by the political wing that needs to accomplish something given the failure to impose the strict Muslim Ban and take millions off healthcare.

Every time Trump suffers a political defeat he comes after the people his base dislikes to distract from his failures. Right after the healthcare failure came the Transgender Ban from military service. Given the daily leaking news about Russia matters; the attacks on minorities, gays and immigrants will be fast and furious.

With the relaxation on EPA rules and failure to regulate pollution. If you live in a Black community whose water is contaminated, good luck getting Federal help. Stop & Frisk is still on Trump’s agenda and that Voting Commission Trump empaneled means minorities no good. With the signing of the Russian sanctions bill that Congress forced on him. Trump came back with an immigration policy favoring “English speaking” people. A reporter called Bannon acolyte Stephen Miller out on an immigration policy that basically favors England and Australia.

America was never a white country but the power has been held by white people for quite some time. Changing demographics where the relatively near future will see white people become a minority is causing some to use every trick in the book to hold that power. Gerrymandering, redistricting, voter suppression, immigration policy and a Supreme Court willing to bless it all. This is why that Trump base that sticks with him no matter what, rises above their shame and backs him. It’s because they’ve asked themselves… what do we have to lose.

The Guide To Who’s Leaking In The White House And Why

The list of who’s not leaking in this White House would be a lot shorter. Ben Carson… that’s it. He’s the only one not leaking because he last had a clue when he was wearing a surgical mask. Everybody else is leaking and their motivations are varied. A few are trying to expose hypocrisy and lies. Others are diverting attention from themselves and their own complicity. Some are trying to create chaos in their attempt to start a new world order. Here’s the guide to the major leakers and what’s driving them.

a a whitee

  1. Jared Kushner and his lawyers: Jared started leaking early in the campaign because of his hatred for Chris Christie. As a US Attorney; Christie send Kushner’s daddy to jail for a variety of charges. He exposed the sordid tale where Charles Kushner tried to discredit his brother-in-law by setting him up with a hooker and sending proof to his own sister. Both were providing evidence against him along with suing him. Young Jared trekked up to see his pops in prison on the regular, carrying a grudge against the man that put him there. When Christie ingratiated himself to The Donald during the campaign, on the verge of being announced as Attorney General… Kushner had to act. His campaign of leaks proved so successful, he began using the technique on his next most formidable foe, Steve Bannon. Kushner had no use for the Jew-hating, White Nationalist Bannon who was becoming the Trump Whisperer and having a bit too much say in official policy. After getting Bannon banished to the outer circles, Kushner is now mostly focused on deflecting from his own participation in Russia collusion and his murky finances.
  2. Ivanka Trump: Ivanka is all about brand and she was the first to see she was on the Titanic and the iceberg was straight ahead. Her leaks were all in an attempt to make herself look good so that she would be untarnished after climbing out of the rubble. She wants to be perceived as the patron saint for paid maternity care, equal pay for women and a reasonable immigration policy. She doesn’t want to be seen as someone who exploits foreign workers in horrific conditions for minimal pay. She thinks she doesn’t need to have any actual influence with her father, she just needs to be seen trying.
  3. Donald Trump, Jr: Donnie doesn’t have real relationships with people to leak to so he relies on his tweets to communicate. He inadvertently reveals way more than the White House would like known about its White Supremacist tendencies when he passes along racist and Neo-Nazi memes. Not much of a one for original thought, he repeats what he’s heard from the right wing blogs he lives on making him as incoherent as the blogs themselves. Donnie wants to be a major player. With his sense of entitlement and superiority, he’ll likely be somebody’s bitch by day two in jail.
  4. Sean Spicer: Nobody would suspect Sean of leaking based on his ineptitude in delivering the actual news of the day from the White House perspective. He became a sad and bitter man after being forced to utter ridiculous explanations for Trump’s actions. After attempting the impossible, he’d then be berated by his ungrateful boss for his clothing, poorly received explanations and excessive perspiration. Even his manliness was questioned after the Saturday Night Live parody’s which like everything else was beyond his control. And then his underling Sarah Huckabee Sanders was gunning for his job. That’s when his leaks and the big payback began.
  5. Steve Bannon: Bannon had the purest motive as all as these things go. Donald Trump had made promises; a man’s word was supposed to be his bond! Trump had acted all along as if he shared Bannon’s Alt-Right, White Supremacist policies and he turned out to be just another cuck. Bannon began his campaign to bring it all down. He would still deconstruct America, just in a different way. All the while fostering discontent and subtly criticizing all around Donald leaving Trump a man alone… with his tweeter.
  6. President Trump: Don’t forget this is a man who once masqueraded as a publicist to brag about himself. He used his close ties to The National Enquirer and a couple other rags to plant stories about his own greatness. He even threatened Joe Scarborough with an Enquirer story if he didn’t play ball. He also is engaged in a quid pro quo with Fox & Friends in return for constantly glowing coverage.
  7. Vladimir Putin: Putin has decided to turn the fact his ownership of Trump is becoming exposed to an advantage. Once it became clear he wouldn’t be able to use Trump to remove sanctions and return assets. He started leaking to bring down the current President and embarrass the United States internationally. Whenever there was a stall in the investigations, Putin provided a new thread for reporters to chase and further amp up the pressure.
  8. Mike Pence: Mike wasn’t content to wait the two to three years it would take Trump to get impeached so he’s helping move things along. All the while reminding us how innocent he was, except for the little thing of ignoring letters from Congress about being on foreign payrolls when Pence was the head of the Transition. Not wanting to be President after Trump loses the House and Senate in the mid-terms. It’s gotta be now!
  9. Lawyers for Flynn, Sessions, Page, Wilbur Ross, and a dozen others: Each in the service of their client has cause to leak and point fingers at everyone else.

The one innocent man Ben Carson, will walk away singing a Quaker hymn he never learned in the inner city. The truth of the lyrics will escape him while their accuracy is profound. “Tis the gift to be simple… Tis the gift to be free.”

Nobody Puts Bannon in the Corner

Steve Bannon is reportedly on the way completely out of the Trump administration or at least towards a severely diminished role. His high visibility whether on the cover of Time Magazine or shown controlling Trump on Saturday Night Live has irked the sensitive Trump. He’s also linked to the early policy failures including the failure to repeal Obamacare and the twice failed Muslim Ban. Maybe worst of all, he doesn’t get along with Trump son-in-law Jared  Kushner, calling him a “cuck” according to The Daily Beast.

otissss

His use of the word “cuck” is  reminder of who Bannon is at heart. There have been recent attempts to clean up the word. One variation is “Cuckservative” which they define as a conservative who has sold out conservative values and is a Democrat in sheep’s clothing. The root word, the one Bannon uses had a far darker history. A “cuck” is an emasculated male whose spouse engages in sexual activities with other men. Among white supremacists (of which Bannon is one) it often means the man’s wife engages in sex with black men which to them is the ultimate insult. Steve Bannon is a White Supremacist whose influence has been a factor in the anti-immigrant rhetoric. The attempts at a Muslim Ban. The reversal of the Justice Department in fighting voter suppression and reining in rogue police departments. It will be no loss at all to see him gone. But don’t expect him to go quietly. Nobody puts Bannon in a corner.

Don’t expect Bannon to simply accept an obscure role. He almost quit when he was removed from the National Security Council until the money man who funds Breitbart stepped in and asked him to stay. Bannon will leave kicking and screaming and Breitbart affords him the lofty perch from which he can proclaim that Trump has failed to be a true Nationalist which means he isn’t acting white enough. Bannon was a late arrival to the campaign and may  not be a part of the Russia collusion threatening to consume much of the Administration. He does know enough about the inner workings of Trump World to sing a devastating tune. I can’t wait to see him go. Can’t wait to hear all he has to say.
